BBB heeft tegen het tweede deel van paragraaf 15 gestemd: “verzoekt gast- en transitlanden de toegang tot diensten op het gebied van seksuele en reproductieve gezondheid en rechten te waarborgen, met name noodanticonceptie, profylaxe na blootstelling en abortuszorg, ook voor slachtoffers van verkrachting;” Conform haar verkiezingsprogramma pleit BBB voor de grootst mogelijke terughoudendheid van de EU inzake gevoelige medisch-ethische vraagstukken. Volgens de BBB-delegatie in het Europees Parlement behoort alles betreffende seksuele en reproductieve gezondheid tot de bevoegdheid van de lidstaten, niet van de EU. Dit is volgens BBB cruciaal om samen te blijven werken in de Europese Unie. BBB zal in deze zittingsperiode dan ook consequent tegen dergelijke tekstvermeldingen stemmen.
