Delegacja Prawa i Sprawiedliwości w grupie EKR podziela w pełni zarzuty stawiane Komisji we wniosku grupy Patriotów dla Europy, w tym następujące: KE nie przedstawiła skutecznych rozwiązań, aby powstrzymać nielegalną migrację do UE, co poważnie zagraża bezpieczeństwu obywateli; KE jednostronnie przystąpiła do podpisania umowy z Mercosurem, ignorując stanowczy i wielokrotnie wyrażany sprzeciw kilku parlamentów narodowych, Parlamentu Europejskiego oraz europejskich rolników i hodowców; KE nadmiernie wykracza poza kompetencje przyznane w traktatach, np. w obszarze leśnictwa i gospodarki leśnej lub ochrony zdrowia publicznego; Komisja Europejska nie tylko nie odstąpiła od wprowadzenie zakazu samochodów spalinowych i nie dokonała rewizji żadnego ze znaczących aktów legislacyjnych w ramach tzw. zielonego ładu; drugie wotum nieufności wobec Komisji Europejskiej złożyła grupa polityczna Lewica, ale z zupełnie odmiennych motywacji politycznych (nie dość szybkie realizowanie polityki klimatycznej oraz nieskuteczne wprowadzenie elementów zielonego ładu). Mimo iż delegacja PiS nie może zgodzić się z podstawowym, jak również z innymi zarzutami zawartymi w tym wniosku (oprócz potępienia umowy Mercosur), to z uwagi na zbieżny, nadrzędny cel, nasi posłowie zdecydowali się wniosek poprzeć. Wszyscy, którzy zagłosowali dzisiaj w obronie KE, opowiedzieli się za obroną ich polityki, tj. zielonego ładu, podwójnych standardów, brakiem równości państw, niszczeniem europejskiej konkurencyjności i napływem nielegalnych migrantów.
