Resolution on continued financial and military support to Ukraine by EU Member States

Cette résolution vise à présenter la position du Parlement européen sur l’évolution de la guerre en Ukraine. Elle appelle l’Union européenne à soutenir le peuple ukrainien humanitairement, financièrement et militairement face à l’agression russe, et à faire respecter le droit international violé par Vladimir Poutine. J’ai voté contre l’ensemble des amendements qui proposaient l’envoi d’armes à longue portée afin de permettre aux Ukrainiens de viser des cibles militaires sur le territoire russe, car cela risque d’engager cette guerre vers une nouvelle forme d’escalade. Cependant, cette résolution appelle également, à notre demande, à la fin des exportations de GNL depuis la Russie et à trouver une solution diplomatique à ce conflit. Pour l’ensemble de ces raisons et en vue de réitérer mon soutien au peuple ukrainien, j’ai voté en faveur de cette résolution.
