The 28th Regime: a new legal framework for innovative companies

Die EU-Kommission plant einen Vorschlag zum sogenannten 28. Regime, also einer neuen, rein europäischen Unternehmensform. Dazu ging es in dieser Abstimmung zum Bericht von MdEP Repasi, in dem wir der Kommission vorab einige Punkte mitgeben, die sie in ihrem Gesetzesvorschlag berücksichtigen soll. Zentral dabei ist die Mitbestimmung der Beschäftigten. Der Missbrauch einer solchen neuen europäischen Unternehmensform muss nämlich verhindert werden, denn es sollte keinesfalls eine Umgehungsstruktur darstellen, die Arbeits- und Sozialrechte aushebeln. Das werden wir besonders genau im Auge haben bei den Verhandlungen rund um den erwarteten Vorschlag der EU-Kommission.
