The future of agriculture and the post-2027 common agricultural policy
Ponia Pirmininke, šiandien balsavome dėl Europos ūkininkams labai svarbaus pranešimo – „Žemės ūkio ateitis ir bendra žemės ūkio politika po 2027 m.“ Kaip Europos Parlamento narys iš Lietuvos, šalies, kurioje žemės ūkis yra labai svarbi ekonomikos dalis, tvirtai palaikiau šį pranešimą. Pranešimo 9 ir 10 pakeitimai, kurių bendraautorius esu, yra ypač svarbūs siekiant sąžiningo ir vienodo ūkininkų traktavimo ir finansavimo tiesioginėmis išmokomis, neatsižvelgiant į jų gyvenamąją šalį. Skirtingų išmokų tarifų, priklausomai nuo šalies, išlaikymas diskriminuoja ūkininkus iš naujųjų valstybių narių, ypač iš Vidurio Rytų Europos. Tiesioginės išmokos turi būti vienodos. Europos Sąjungoje nėra geresnių ar blogesnių šalių ir negali būti geresnių ar blogesnių ūkininkų. Jie visi dirba tą patį sunkų darbą ūkyje ir su jais visoje ES turi būti elgiamasi vienodai, nes nuo jų priklauso Europos aprūpinimas maistu. Lietuvos ūkininkai jau daugiau nei 20 metų pagrįstai reikalauja suvienodinti tiesiogines išmokas. Šiandienos balsavimas, o ypač 9 pakeitimo priėmimas, parodė, kad Europos Parlamento dauguma nori subsidijų išlyginimo, ir Europos Komisija, kurdama naują bendros žemės ūkio politikos teisinę sistemą po 2027 m., privalo į tai atsižvelgti.
